EUROCUP 2016

Dear colleagues,

I am delighted to invite you to the 24th consecutive edition of EUROCUP competition for young bartenders.

The competition will take place in Presov, SLOVAKIA from 9th to 11th November 2016. EUROCUP is widely recognised as a great event for young bartenders offering excellent opportunity to share their knowledge and experience and to learn from professional bartenders. This year there will be Jana Karkušová - current IBA World Vice champion and former World Champion in Bartending, Martin Župina - a bartender from Hemingway Bar in Prague, and Tomáš Gyén - Monin Brand Ambassador. Besides that, excellent presentation on variations of Martini cocktails by Rasťo Kubáň and a unique opportunity to visit Cognac Embassy in Košice are part of the programme.

EUROCUP 2016 will consist of 2 categories, CLASSIC and FLAIR; participation in Flair category is optional. CLASSIC category will be open to 2-membered teams, while optional FLAIR category will be open to individuals. You will find all the information, rules, samples of evaluation sheets and programme for both categories below, at the bottom of this website.French version will be available soon.

Dear colleagues, EUROCUP is one of the biggest international events for junior bartenders, supported also by Association of European Hotel and Tourism Schools (AEHT) and FFH – La Fondation Pour La Formation Hôtèliere. Last year there were 37 teams from 7 European countries participating in the competition so we believe it is a good opportunity for students to develop their professional knowledge and skills. We will be happy to welcome you and a team from your school in Prešov.
